Juliette Jones Obituary

Juliette "Peanut" Carpenter Jones left this earth on May 17, 2022. She was 80 years old.  Juliette was born in Schenectady, New York on June 12, 1941.

She is the daughter of the late Solomon and Frances (Manny) Carpenter. Juliette eventually moved to South Carolina with her beloved husband, the late Joseph R. Jones, Sr.

Juliette raised four boys and also worked as a school bus driver and Nurse's aide. She loved taking care of her family and others, and she spent years doing so.

Juliette was a strong and hard-working soul. She gave of herself effortlessly and was forever making people laugh with her quick-witted personality.  She loved collecting antiques and working in her garden with all of the beautiful flowers. It was her sanctuary.

Juliette is survived by her most beautiful twin sister Yvette of Glenville, New York.  She also leaves behind three sons, Joseph and Jay, both of South Carolina; and John (Mary) of Tampa, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph, her son James, "Jimmy" Jones, and siblings, Francine, Pierrette, Lucie, Shirley and Lawrence.  She has many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who greatly miss her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Amedisys Hospice for the wonderful care that gave Juliette.
