John "Jack" L. Wenrich, III

Our beloved Jack was called ‘home’ July 7, 2021. Jack was born January 4, 1960 in Cherry Point, NC to John L. Wenrich, Jr. and Marion Wenrich. 

Jack grew up in Cherry Point until he and Susan were married September 16, 1979 and re-located to Lake City, SC. Jack worked in auto body and collision in Lake City and always operated his own ‘side business’ and earned a reputation of being one of the best in the field. Jack and Susan moved to Myrtle Beach, SC in 1981 where Jack worked for one of the local dealerships until he finally obtained his goal of having his own shop in 1997. Jack and Susan owned and operated Socastee Collision from 1997-2018. Jack worked many long and hard hours to provide and care for his little family. 

Jack is survived by his son, Michael Wenrich and daughter-in-law, Nicole Wenrich of Myrtle Beach, SC, his mother, Marion Wenrich of Pensacola, FL, his sister, Valerie Carlton, brother-in-Law, Dean Carlton of Milton, FL, and brother, Mark Wenrich of Myrtle Beach, along with his little circle of lifelong friends who cherished and loved him. 

Jack was predeceased in death by his sweet wife Susan Leigh Swindell Wenrich (2020), his precious daughter, Kayla Jane Wenrich, (2004) and his father, John L. Wenrich, Jr. (2016).

Jack, having grown up in Cherry Point, NC, loved being on the water, was a skilled boater, and being on the water was his ‘happy place’.
