Obituary

Myrtle Beach: John Daskalis, 63, husband of Anastasia Saroglou Daskalis, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at his home, after an illness.

Mr. Daskalis was born on August 1, 1958, in Greece, son of the late Nikolas Daskalis and Maria Kasolas Daskalis. He was the owner and operator of Johnny D’s Restaurant. 

Surviving in addition to his wife are his Children, Nikolas Daskalis, John Daskalis, Jr., Jamie Daskalis and Maria Daskalis, all of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Yani Daskalis and James Saunders; brother, Bobby Daskalis of Greece; and sister, Dina Daskalis of Myrtle Beach.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:30 PM, Thursday, April 28, 2022, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, Myrtle Beach.

Funeral services will be 1:30 PM, Friday, April 29, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 3301 33rd Avenue Ext. North, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Burial will follow at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens, 5000 US -17, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.
