Joanne C Myers

Joanne C. Myers, 69, of North Myrtle Beach, passed away on January 30, 2021 in Little River, SC.  Born in Hanover, PA, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence H. and Pauline (Peters) Cummins.

Joanne was known best as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She was always a voice of kindness, tolerance, and eternal hope.  She saw the good in people, and was quick to forgive others.  Above all else, she showed us all how to see the world as a place where love can make a difference in everyday life, and where god always has a plan for all of us.  Those who had the honor of spending time with her are better people today for having had her in their lives, and the light of her memory and the virtues she embodied will shine bright within them for generations to come.

She is survived by her loving husband, Leonard K. Myers; children, Laura K. Payne (Jeremy), Keith L. Myers (Nancy), Andrew L. Myers (Amie); sister, Kathy Bradley (Robert); grandchildren, Caden Payne, Mason Payne, Mackenzie Payne, Jackson Payne, Alessandra Myers, Kelly Myers, Levi Myers, and Tillie Myers.

Joanne was an Administrative Specialist for the Department of Health Services at Coastal Carolina University, Conway, SC.  She was a communicant of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach.
