Obituary
Joan K. Schuermann, 79, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on October 17, 2025.
She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Joel and Marcella (Conlon) Rusche on September 2, 1946. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert, and son Thomas. She is survived by her children: Robert (Paula) Schuermann, Michelle (Mike) Young, and Susan (Paul) Presnell; grandchildren: Andrew, Lauren, and Isaac Schuermann, and Alison and Elisabeth Presnell; sisters, Karen Rusche, Susan Ames, and Patti Kronk; as well as beloved nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a visitation at 10am on Friday, October 24, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Church, 800 Ohio Pike, Withamsville, Ohio 45245.
Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.
