Jimmy Douglas Briscoe
July 24, 1945 – September 2, 2025
Jimmy Douglas Briscoe, 80 years of age, passed away on September 2, 2025.
Born in Dallas, Texas on July 24, 1945, Jimmy was the eldest of five children of Imogene Louise Gilbreath and Edwin Ray Briscoe. He grew up in Dallas and graduated from North Dallas High School in 1963. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps before continuing his education at San Antonio College.
Jimmy built a successful career in sales and recruiting, working across industries including healthcare and technology. While he excelled professionally, he considered his greatest joy and accomplishment to be his role as a father and grandfather. He delighted in spending time with his family, listening to music, and deepening his faith in the Lord. Known for his warm personality, he never met a stranger and always took time to share his testimony with others.
Jimmy is survived by four of his children: Debi Briscoe, Holly Wittschen (Steve), Lindsey Berg (Aaron), and Mark Briscoe (Liz); his brother Gary Briscoe and sister DiAnne Brady; and his beloved grandchildren Tyler Briscoe, Caroline McDowell (Gavin), Sydney Wittschen, and Annika Berg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Imogene Briscoe; his son, Jimmy Briscoe, Jr.; his brother Rodney Briscoe; his sister DeLeene Eubank; and his brother-in-law Randy Eubank.
We look forward to reuniting with him in glory.
We love you Dad, Granddaddy, brother, and friend.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
