Jesse Grant Hites

Jesse Grant Hites was 67 when he passed on Sunday morning, October 12, 2025 in Charleston, SC. He was born on February 13, 1958 in Germany while his father, Walter Grant Hites, was working in the air force and stationed there with Jesse's mother, Norma Jean Hites. He is survived by one sister named Brenda Cribb with her three children Joshua Henriksen, Kaley Henriksen, and Heather Henriksen. He is also survived by his loving children, Allison Paige Hites and Aaron Grant Hites, who he would say were his legacy in life. Nothing made him happier than spending time with his own two kids. Disney movies, gun ranges, and pizza were just a few things we all loved to share with him. He resided in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and worked as a Corporate Controller for hotels on the Grand Strand for the majority of his life. His education included some college courses in addition to his high school diploma. He was a deacon previously as well and no one outside his family knew him better than his best friend, Mitch Penny. They loved spending time together when they could, whether it was discussing the Bible, joking around, or fishing, there was no greater friendship to Jesse. 

The memorial service will be held this Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 10:30am. Viewing will begin at 9:30am. The address for the service is 910 67th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC, 29577 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home & Crematory. Condolences may be expressed at www.msfh.net. Flowers may be left at the service. The burial service follows at Ocean Woods Cemetery.

He was a remarkable Christian man who believed heavily in the word of God. We are grateful that he is no longer suffering and instead with our Lord in Heaven. Thank you all.
