Jeffrey Thomas Heal

Jeffrey T. Heal, 84, of Myrtle Beach, passed away on December 17, 2025, at his home in Berkshire Forest, surrounded by his loving family and a few close friends. Born on May 8th, 1941 in Youngstown, Ohio. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and close friend whose huge heart and love for others touched countless lives.
Jeff began his career after graduating from the United States Air Force (USAF) Academy, with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Commission as a 2nd Lieutenant. After “getting his wings” in 1965, Jeff rose to the rank of Captain both in the USAF and in the private sector for Boeing where he flew a 707. Jeff later enjoyed a long career as a Bond and Derivatives broker, volunteered his pilot skills to Angel Flight of Georgia and operated a Pilatus PC-12.
Jeff met his loving wife, Jacqueline Bowen and were married in 2005 and eventually moved from Atlanta, GA to their home in Myrtle Beach, SC. Jeff & Jacque always had their door open and together enjoyed hosting numerous gatherings at their new home on Ellesmere Circle.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Jacqueline Bowen: children, Kevin and Kim.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip W. and Isabel Jean Heal, siblings: Jane Ann, Phillip Jr. and Carol. Jeff’s legacy of a Keen Intelligence, Love of Country and Loyalty to his beloved Air Force Falcons made for time with Jeff memorable. Go Falcons!
