Jean Kent Anderson was born on October 28, 1958 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Bruce Alexander Anderson Jr. and Ruby Christine Blazier. Growing up she attended New Hopewell Baptist Church. She graduated from South Doyle High School in 1976 and became an LPN in 1978, respectively. She married Melbourne Ernest Joseph Jr. on her birthday; October 28, 1988 in her hometown of Knoxville. A few years after residing in California, she and her husband moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where they had twin boys Jordan and Wyatt, born on August 18, 2000. Several years later, the family moved from Las Vegas, NV to Watertown, NY in 2016. After the eventual passing of her dear late husband in 2019, she and her sons moved from Watertown, NY to Myrtle Beach, SC. She resided there with them until her subsequent passing on October 16, 2025 in nearby Mt. Pleasant, SC.
She is survived by brothers Phillip Bruce Anderson (his wife; sister-in-law, Lynda) and Stephen “Steve” Charles Anderson (his wife; sister-in-law, Carol). She is also survived by her two sons Jordan Blazier Joseph and Wyatt Anderson Joseph.
Finally, our mother is a dearly beloved soul who we will miss for the rest of our lives. May she receive her rightful portion in Heaven. In God’s loving and merciful name we pray. Amen! –Jordan & Wyatt
