James A. “Jim” Fetzer Jr., 67, passed away Friday, September 17, at a Myrtle Beach hospital, with his loving wife by his side. Jim was born November 15, 1953, in Philadelphia PA, son of James A and Joan Fetzer.
Jim is survived by his wife, Dorothy Fetzer; her sons, Michael and Matthew Windover; and his brother Kurt Fetzer and wife Janice, and their three daughters and son.
Jim was a hardworking man who retired from Verizon and settled in Myrtle Beach with his wife Dorothy to enjoy doing what they loved the most in life, the beach and riding his motorcycle. He was a jovial gentleman and made friends with people everywhere he went in life. Jim had an altruistic attitude willing to help anyone, especially in times of need. Jim loved his country and believed in hard work and American values.
A Memorial service, celebrating Jim’s life, will be held at 11 AM Thursday, September 23, at McMillan-Small Funeral home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
