James “Jimmy” Austin Chrismon,Jr. passed away peacefully at his home on March 10,2023. He was born February 13th, 1969 in Greensboro, North Carolina to James “Austin” and Betty Chrismon.
Jimmy was a jack of all trades and could do anything he set his mind to do. He loved working on cars, being outside and surrounding himself with friends and family. Jimmy was fearless of anything. One thing Jimmy loved was fishing and looking forward to his next adventure in life. Jimmy is survived by his wife Maria; their children Taylor, Holly and Meredith; his mother Betty and his sister Wendy. He also had 8 grandchildren, Colby, Annabella, Delilah, Jace, Adeline, Brielle, Jesse and Colton whom his world revolved around. Jimmy was preceded by his father James Austin Chrismon, Sr.. Jimmy also had 2 sons-in-law, Jay Sheely and Kinley Gattis who were very special to him as well as a brother in law David Gooden.
