Jacqueline B. (Sokolsky) Trexler, 80, of Myrtle Beach, SC, died July 25 at Grand Strand Medical Center. Devoted wife of the late Ray E. Trexler, Jackie was born June 24, 1941 in Allentown, PA to the late Bernard and Elizabeth (Gollie) Sokolsky. She worked for the Allentown School District for 20 years before retiring to Myrtle Beach in 1999. Above all else, she cherished time spent with family and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Anthony A. Kroll, Conway, SC; Mark R. Kroll (Karlene Hemerlyfluck), Nokesville, VA; Timothy B, Kroll (Celeste), Leland, NC; daughters and sons of her heart, Monique & James Clement, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Nancy & James Way, Pace, FL; “sisters”, Linda Kincaid, Christine Barber, Judith Owens; grandchildren, Brandon, Eric, Shawn, Mazzia, & Ryan; five great-grandchildren; her beloved cat, Molly; her family of friends at Longwood Lakes; and numerous cousins, nephews, & nieces.
She was predeceased by husband, parents, brother, Richard B. Sokolsky, sister, Patricia Wittman, and faithful companion, Susie.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 3:00 PM at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, and at her request, casual attire will be the order of the day, including the family.
