Imogene Booth, 88, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
She was born in Horry County in 1937 to the late Joy and Emma Rabon of Conway. She grew up in the Aynor/Conway area with her six siblings before settling in Myrtle Beach for the past 65 years with her husband and sons.
Imogene was a devoted and active member of First Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach. She enjoyed being a volunteer and more importantly, she loved her Church family.
Survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ashley Booth of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by her son Murrell Booth, (wife Kim), son Ray Booth, (wife Elizabeth), her “son”, Pete Fitzpatrick, Three grandsons, Jacob, Lance and Calan Booth of Myrtle Beach. Three great grandchildren, Asher, Rylan, and Briar Booth. She is also survived by her brothers, Joy “Buddy” Rabon and Don Rabon, of Conway, SC. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy Rabon, Joe Bill Rabon, her sister, Joyce Rhueark, and Mary Bryant of Conway, SC.
Imogene will always be known as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her love and devotion to her family and her faith in the Lord was always in the forefront. She loved her Myrtle Beach Seahawks and the USC Gamecocks and would let you know about it.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM at First Methodist Church, Myrtle Beach. The family will receive friends following the service.
Imogene lived, loved, and made the most of every day and will be missed by all who knew her.
