Helen Bradley Lambert

Helen Bradley Lambert, age 95, went to be with the Lord on June 22, 2026 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Mrs. Lambert was born in Davy, WV, to Clarence and Edna Bradley and lived in West Virginia until she and her husband, Joe, moved to Bristol, TN, in 1960. She spent most of her career working at Paty Lumber Co. and then The Grand Court. During this time, she was a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club and served as its president. After retiring, Mrs. Lambert volunteered at the hospital gift shop. She lived out her faith as a member at Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lambert loved God, her family, and the many people whose lives she touched. Her family was blessed by and learned from: her abounding love, her enduring strength, and her gracious care for everyone, especially for her husband. She will be remembered for her love of reading, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles (in ink), eating out, and enjoying Door Dash.

Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joe Lambert; her brother, Kenneth Bradley and wife Lynnette; sister, Doris Mathis and husband, Ronnie; and sister, Patsy Gerfin and husband Ed. 

She is survived by daughter, Marla Scroggs (Darryl); daughter, Alana Whisnant (Harry): granddaughter, Brittany Price (Adam); grandson, Tyler Scroggs (Erin); grandson, Brandon Whisnant (Tonya); great-grandchildren, Bella Price, Hudson Price, Elijah Whisnant, Abigail Whisnant, and Jacob Martinez; brother, Roger Bradley (Donna); sister, Donna Schoenberger; brother, Bob Bradley (Sherry); and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, techs, and staff at Grand Strand Medical Center, South, and Agape Hospice for their care and kindness during Mrs. Lambert’s brief illness.

A celebration of life service, led by her niece, Sharon Morrison, will be held at the chapel at Glenwood Cemetery on Friday, June 27, 2026, at 10:00 am.
