Gerald “Jerry” Migliaro Jr., 76, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on April 26, 2025.
Born November 27, 1948 in New Haven, CT, Jerry was the son of the late Gerald Migliaro, Sr. and the late Alice Darin Migliaro. He was a graduate of the University of New Haven, graduating with a B.A. in English. Jerry worked for the State of Connecticut in Gambling Regulation as a liaison before retiring to Myrtle Beach, SC with his beloved wife, Marylouise.
He was very involved in town politics in Hamden, CT, where he raised his family. He served as Chair of the Fire Commission for several years and served on the Police Commission. Jerry was an accomplished billiards player, playing in the APA Leagues. He enjoyed traveling, including over 25 cruises to various destinations such as Europe and the Caribbean. He was an avid card player with friends, enjoyed going to craft breweries, and playing mini golf with his family. He loved watching sports including baseball, auto racing, and golf.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Marylouise Migliaro; his sister, Denise Sagar (Skip); his brother-in-law Chick DeCaprio; his daughter, Denise Migliaro; his stepchildren, Raymond Farina and Nicholas Farina (Clarisa); his grandchildren, Lexia Loubriel and Connor Soriano; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister, Roseann DeCaprio.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 1st, 2025 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, 910 67th Avenue North, Myrtle Beach, at 10:00 am, with the memorial service beginning at 11:00 am, and fellowship with catering immediately the following the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
