Military Sargent, George Henry Reaves III, 78, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
He was born in Mullins, SC on September 15, 1947 to George Henry Jr and Nancy Dudley Reaves. He served in the army from 1968-1974. During his time in the service, he was awarded with the national defense service medal.
George is widowed by his wife, Mary Best Reaves of Myrtle Beach, and Sister, Beth Harvey of Virginia. He is survived by his son, Scott Reaves (Wendy) of Haines City, FL; granddaughter, McKenley Reaves; brother in law, Ted Best (Karline) of Gainesville, GA and brother in law, Ronald Harvey of Virginia.
A graveside service will be Monday, October 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway, SC with military honors.
