Geoffrey Dean Davis

On March 09, 2023 our family unexpectedly lost a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, that helped build a foundation of warmth, comfort, and joy for his family and all that knew him. 
Geoffrey Dean Davis, 77, was born in Burbank, CA. He went to high school at University High School in LA, and then to college at Chapman University in Orange, CA studying Business until he graduated in 1972. While studying, he developed an interest in Computer Science leading him to careers in the IT field.
He worked in IT Quality Assurance at multiple government contracting companies in multiple cities across the US. 
Geoff met his wife Sue in 1967 at LA Valley College and they were married in 1970 at All Saints Episcopal Church. They were married for 53 years. After moving around for work he retired in Myrtle Beach, SC where his son and grandchildren lived. He continued to work retirement jobs at various coffee shops due to his and his wife’s love for coffee and when he fully retired, he still made coffee and espresso daily. 
Geoff loved his family and dogs dearly. He enjoyed camping throughout his life and was thoroughly involved with his church family at The Well by the Sea in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was a dedicated servant to god. 
Predeceased by his father Marvin Davis, mother Marjorie Davis, and sister Melinda Carfagno. 
Survived by his wife Sue Davis, son Bill Davis, granddaughters Summer Ajuech, Gwendolyn Davis, and Isabella Davis, great granddaughters Arlee and Abigail Ajuech, sister Nannette Latchford, and nieces Lauren Latchford Siehien and Jaime Latchford Bruce.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at The Well By the Sea Church, 211 Forestbrook Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC  29579.
