Frederick Dana Cazer, 79, passed away in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on Friday, May 30th, 2025. He was born in Peterborough, New Hampshire on August 11, 1945, to Lillian Bullock Cazer and D. Wilson Cazer.
He graduated from Central High School in Philadelphia, PA in 1963. He received an undergraduate degree from Syracuse University, BS in Chemistry, graduate degree and PHD in Medicinal Chemistry from State University of NY at Buffalo, and a Post Doctorate at Ohio State University Cancer Research Center in Columbus, OH.
He married Christine Clark who passed away in 1997. Married Linda Cornell Stewart in 2001, and moved to Myrtle Beach, SC in 2020.
He is survived by his wife, Lina M. Cazer, daughter, Elizabeth Dana Cazer, stepdaughter, Lisa Stewart (Michael) Berard, stepson, Timothy (Deborah) Stewart, step-grandchildren Bryan (Melissa) LaRoe, Carl, C.J. (Amy) Stewart, Dylan Stewart, Cam McGillis, Josh Berard, and Machayla Berard (Buck) Burns.
He is also survived by his brother, Paul (Nancy) Cazer, two nieces, a nephew, and two great nieces.
There will be no funeral services per Fred’s wishes, rather a Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be held on June 21, 2025, at First Baptist Church North Myrtle Beach at 2:00 p.m.
