Frank Causey, 86, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 4, 2021, in Palm Coast, Florida.
He was born October 22, 1934, in Duford, SC, the son of the late Mayberry and Bertha (Elliott) Causey. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Steven Todd Causey in 2017.
Frank graduated from Floyd’s High School and served in The United States Army. After serving in the Army, he enrolled in The Dell School of Medical Technology and then furthered his education at The University of South Carolina. Frank then moved to Mullins, SC and opened Grant Jewelers which he grew into a success chain with several locations in the Carolinas. He relocated to Myrtle Beach in 1986 and owned and operated multiple businesses including Zack’s Mart until his retirement in 2005. During the years of his retirement, Frank enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, traveling, cheering for the Gamecocks and spending time with his family.
Frank is survived by two sons, Dr. Frank Causey Jr. and wife, Dana, and their children, Hampton Causey and Chandler Causey of Chapin, SC, Dr. Zach Causey and wife, Nicole, and their children, Hannah Rouse and husband Austin, Liam Causey and Aoife Causey, of Myrtle Beach, SC and sister, Pauline Williams, of Finklea, SC.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, July 9, 2021, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Nichols, SC
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 8th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at McMillan-Small Funeral Home.
