Frances A. Campbell

CAMPBELL, Fran – Fran passed peacefully into the next life on Jan. 18, 2021, freed from the bonds that had held her mind and body in the past few months.

An only child, Fran is preceded in death by parents, Ray and Mildred (Fisher) Angell of Danville, VA.  She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James T (Jim) Campbell, daughter Tracey (Jeff) Powers, Clayton, NC, and son, Jason Campbell (Lauren), Charlotte, NC.  Fran was a faithful member of South Run Baptist Church, Springfield, VA, and until her recent illness, regularly attended Ocean View Baptist Church, Myrtle Beach, SC.

Fran was an personable, energetic soul who was loved by all who knew her. She loved and thoroughly enjoyed her five grandchildren (Megan, Sean, Lexi, Jonas and Logan) and five great-grandchildren (Anthony, Adrian, Isabella, Brian, and Kinslee).  Special thanks to Cynthia Gore, Fran’s caregiver and special friend, for her loving care and to the Care Committee of Cipriana Park, Myrtle Beach, SC during the difficult weeks of Fran’s life.

The family will announce plans for a memorial service at a later date.  Anyone wishing to acknowledge the memory and appreciation of Fran and their condolences for her family are requested to make a contribution for Hospice Services of Regency Southern Care https://regencysoutherncarehospice.com/ or Regency SouthernCare Hospice, 600 Garden City Connector Ste A, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
