Obituary

 

Flora Rodriguez Bader, 86, wife of the late Raymond James Bader, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, at Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach.

Flora was born on June 23, 1936, in Bayonne, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Rodriguez and Bessie Fillipone Rodriguez. Flora was an avid reader and loved game nights with her friends. She enjoyed playing poker and naturally, was a diehard Yankee’s fan. Flora was also a very good bartender and very active in Knights of Columbus and The Alhambra in her hometown of Bayonne, NJ.

Surviving are her daughters, Judy Haskins, and Patti (Nicholas) Doria; grandchildren, Alaina (Adam) Parks, Nicholas Doria and Matthew Doria; great-grandchildren, AJ and Archie Parks; sister, Nina Friscia; along with many nephews and nieces.

Flora was preceded in death by her sister, Carmen “Dolly” Mastromonaco.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 8, 2022, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
