Emily Kate Moberley

Emily Kate Moberley, 8, passed away August 31, 2022, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born December 16, 2013, in Lexington, Kentucky a daughter of William Moberley and the late Laura Moberley.

Emily loved gymnastics and was a part of the Bronze competitive team. She loved wearing dresses and the colors pink and purple. She enjoyed taking care of the family’s pets and she was always concerned with everyone’s health and well-being.  She loved drawing and crafts.  She loved school and was a part of the gifted and talented program. She was always energetic and friendly to others. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her father, William Moberley; her grandparents, Mary and Ralph Epperson, William and Teresa Moberley, John Vickerstaff, and Jackie Daniels; her great-grandparents Roy and Golda Bowman; her aunts, Kristie Epperson, and Megan Jones (Jeremey Jones); her uncle Michael Vickerstaff (Becky Vickerstaff); her pets Callie, Cocoa, Sweetie Pie, and numerous friends.

The family will receive friends at Carolina Forest Community Church on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 2:00-3:45 pm. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Thursday, September 8, 2022, with Rev. Tyler Edwards leading the service. Burial will follow at Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery in Conway on Hwy 544.
