Elsa Joan Daniels or, as she was known to her friends, Pinky Daniels died peacefully in her sleep on April 6, 2021 after a battle with dementia. She was 74 years old. Pinky died just 55 days after her husband of 56 years passed away from natural causes. They are survived by two adult sons.
Resolute and unforgettable, Pinky will live on in our memories and hearts. She loved us, inspired us, supported us and walked beside us as she does now. She loved babies, children and dogs and always seemed to have ready a treat for any one of them. Children thought she was magic and I suspect a great many of us did too.
After a life in Dubai that spanned 30 years, Pinky moved to the U.S. to be with her husband and closer to her sons in 2003. During her time in Dubai, she aspired to be a consummate advertising professional and creative with the firm of Inca Tanvir Advertising, retiring as deputy director. She was also a well known international columnist. She truly loved the industry and the work she did and kept up with it as long as she could.
"God bless you Pinky, forever in our minds and hearts. We will miss you."
