Eloise Jessop

Eloise was born in Darwin, VA to McKinley & Lona Robinson.  She moved to Baltimore at age 18 and later married Kenneth Jessop - they were married for 64 years. He preceded her in death in 2022. She was one of 9 children. She follows 7 siblings in death. 

She is survived by one brother, Charles Robinson and his wife Barbara, Roxanne Mills and her husband Gary, who make their home in Conway SC, and Susan Heying and her husband Douglas and two granddaughters, Kara and Julia from Pasadena, MD.  Also survived by many precious nieces and nephews.

Eloise retired from Baltimore City Public Schools in 1997 and had been active in church activities, computer classes, aerobic exercises and sharing meals with shut ins and visiting same, as long as she was able to.  She was always ready to lend a helping hand.  Her hobbies while raising her 2 girls was sewing for them and taking them to numerous church activities and music lessons.  She enjoyed their friends and always encouraged the girls to bring them to their home.  She was a sunday school teacher and Awana leader during the girls' youth.  Eloise loved to travel with her husband Ken  - they went to many countries over the years and a total of 22 cruises.

She spent the last year and a half living in SC with Gary and Roxanne, and was a blessing to both of them. Her daughter Susan and family visited often. She will be missed by all of her family but we know she is rejoicing to be in Heaven.  

Service - June 30, 2026 at 11 AM at Anchor Baptist Church, 320 W. Pasadena Road, Millersville, MD  21108
