Elly L. (Toaldo) Krischik

Elly L. Krischik, 92, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2021 at her home. Born in Germany, daughter of Otto and Emilie (Zimermann) Toaldo.

Elly met her husband in Germany while he was serving in the US Army, before coming to NY to be married and raise a family.  She enjoyed working as a cashier at King Kullen in East Northport, NY for thirty years before retiring to Little River, SC.  During her retirement, she enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and traveling with her friends, as well as spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Michele Engels and husband, Randy of Myrtle Beach, grandson, Derek Engels and wife, Dana of Myrtle Beach & granddaughter, Diana Engels of Charleston, SC.   

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arno, and her sister, Ilse Negozio.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, July 16, 2021 at Brunswick Memorial Gardens in Shallotte, NC.
