Elizabeth June Launi

Elizabeth passed away on Saturday March 1, 2025 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River, SC.

Elizabeth June Moore Launi, born in Montgomery, West Virginia, on January 2, 1932, passed away on March 1, 2025. She was the daughter of Walter Roy Moore and Lockie Alice Anderson Moore.

Elizabeth attended nursing school at the University of Virginia, where she met the love of her life, Charles Angelo Launi. They married in 1953 and shared a lifetime together until his passing in 2012.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bernard Shirkey Moore and Raymond Anderson Moore.

Elizabeth is survived by her children: Michael Launi (Mary Bluethmann), Nancy Launi (James Godsey), and Susan Launi (Craig Peel). She was a loving grandmother to Michelle and Alyssa Launi and Max Peel. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Her legacy of love, dedication, and family will be cherished by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 13th, 2025, at 1:00 pm at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to wear blue because she loved "Any color as long as it was blue".

A private burial will be held in Virginia in August.
