Eleanor (Nikolajew) Steinbach

Ella Steinbach, 75, passed away on Wed, Nov 8, 2023, and is now rejoicing in the arms of her Savior.

She is survived by her husband, Richard, sons Jason, Mark, Luke, Ethan, Thomas, Noah, Damian, Marvin, daughter Melanie Steinbach (Gauger), son-in-law Brad Gauger, daughter-in-law Amy Steinbach, sister Henrietta Faast, and grandsons Matthew, Jaron, Wesley, Warren.

Her life was defined by the compassion and unrelenting love she demonstrated to everyone, even when her own challenges seemed insurmountable.  She faithfully followed Jesus, inspiring those around her to see God at work in every situation.  Her eyes were always full of hope, and her arms always open to those in need.  

Ella attended the New Jersey School of the Deaf, where she made many wonderful lifelong friends. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard, in 1971, and filled their family with love for 52 years.  She will be missed by all those that were blessed to have her in their lives.

A service will be held in N.J. at a later date.
