Edith M. (Day) Nicholas

Edith M. Nicholas, 89, of Conway, SC passed away Wednesday November 18, 2020 in Conway, SC.  Born June 03, 1931 in Boston, MA, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Ruby (Cook) Day.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Phillip Nicholas, Jr.; son, Joseph S. Nichols, and 2 grandchildren.

Edith was an avid crafter, she sewed and made Christmas ornaments among other things.  She enjoyed bird watching and her flower garden.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.  She also loved her faithful cat, Bella.

Survivors include 2 sons, Phillip Nicholas, Timothy E. Nicholas; 2 daughters, Linda Nicholas Johnson, Robin Nicholas; 2 sisters, Dorothy Lawruszko, Evelyn Racine; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

No formal funeral service is scheduled at this time.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
