Donna L. Eddington

Donna L. Eddington, 64, of Myrtle Beach, S.C. was greeted into the arms of Jesus Christ, her husband Jeffry, her two sons, her sister and parents on June 30, 2022. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Frank Zilles and Dorcas (Ludwig) Zilles of Reading, PA.  Donna is survived by her daughter, Erin M. Hole wife of Michael W. Hole of Reading, PA, as well as her beautiful grandchildren, Everett M. Hole and Jessica L. Hole, and her beloved dogs, Oscar and Nacho. Donna was predeceased by the love of her life, Jeffry W. Eddington and her cherished sons, Bryan Scott Homan and David Allen Homan; her parents Dorcas and Frank Zilles and her twin sister, Diane Z. Caldwell.  Donna was a kind-hearted person who loved life, her family, and her career as General Manager at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club. Recently retired, she was excited to celebrate the next chapters of her life. In March she was baptized and joined First Presbyterian where she instantly felt at home. She was beaming with the certainty of an eternal life in heaven with all her loved ones. Donna will be profoundly missed, but we know her heart is full with the peace, love, and joy she deserves.  A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian on Tuesday, July 5th at 4:00 p.m. 3810 Robert M Grissom Pkwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Benevolence Fund" at First Presbyterian where all funds will be used to support local charities and organizations in Myrtle Beach.
