Donald Wills Rocci, Sr. died on April 26, 2021 surrounded by family. Donald was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma and was actively receiving treatment. Unfortunately, Donald contracted COVID-19 and pneumonia and succumbed to the illness comfortably at the hospital with his wife and daughters by his side.
A native of Boston, Donald and his wife Jackie recently moved to Conway, South Carolina to pursue their well-earned retirement. Despite his relocation, Donald was an unwavering Boston sports fan, never missing a Patriots or Red Sox game. His greatest passion was sharing the love of the Lord Jesus Christ to everyone he met. He dedicated over 43 years to serving for the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International and was an active member at his church. Donald will be remembered by his kind and compassionate soul and his willingness to help and pray with anyone in need.
Donald is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years and life-long friend Jacqueline F. Rocci. Devoted father of Donald Rocci, Jr. and wife Wendy of Massachusetts, Leonora and husband Ignacio of Florida, Matthew Rocci and wife Krissy of Massachusetts, and Lindsay Donaghue and husband Shawn of New Jersey; and step-father of Eric Wills and wife Pamela of New York and Yana Amato and husband Steve of Connecticut. Proud and loving grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Donald is also survived by siblings, cousins, and countless friends.
We will miss him dearly but are comforted knowing he is now eternally dancing with Jesus in Heaven. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday May 1 at 4pm at Forestbrook Baptist Church. Flowers may be sent to the church at 2051 Forestbrook Road Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 29588.
