Donald Leonard Frost, age 83, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025.
He was born in Canton, Ohio on October 6, 1942, to the late Harold and Alice Marie (Brenaman) Frost. He married Nancy Edwards on August 28, 1979.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, daughter Heather (Rae) of Michigan, son, Ryan (Shanna) of North Carolina, and two granddaughters, Kaylie, and Jenna of North Carolina.
Don was a retired teacher from Canton City Schools and also worked part-time for 10 years with Nancy at Edwards Accounting in Louisville, Ohio. When Don and Nancy moved to Del Webb Grand Dunes in Myrtle Beach in August 2018, he was
only 1 of 3 persons living there that knew how to play pickleball so in the beginning he taught many of the residents how to play. He was named “Godfather of Pickleball at Del Webb”.
A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach on December 12 at 2:00 pm
with Rev. John Brearley officiating and Rev. Lamar Helms assisting.
Burial will be in Canton, Ohio at a later date.
