Donald Beeson Obituary

Donald E. “Don” Beeson, 73, passed away peacefully May 12, 2021 at his home. Born January 5, 1948 in Chicago, IL, son of the late Cornelius and Dorothy (Robertson) Beeson.

Don was retired from the US Navy where he was a cryptologist. He was a life long Chicago bears fan and he was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors. He was also very passionate about his job as a paraprofessional where he taught children with special needs.

Survivors include his long-time domestic partner, Kathleen “Kate” Dietrich; sons, Geoffery Beeson and Donald Eric Beeson, his daughter, Joy B. Semelka, his brother, Daryl Beeson and his sister, Sue Moyer. Along with his grandchildren and great grandchildren Keiana Beeson, Geoffery Beeson Jr, Kalven Beeson, Cierra Raitz, Kayla Semelka, Cameron Semelka, Luci Raitz and Ana Litton.
