Donald F. Askey, 86, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021.

He was born on October 1, 1934 in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, a son of the late William F. and Catherine Namett Askey.

He was retired brakeman from the railroad industry in Pennsylvania and an United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Myrna Cassidy Askey; his children, Doris Meixel, Don Askey and wife Shelly, and Daniel Askey and wife Ann; grandchildren, Donnie Askey, Tyler Askey, Marissa Askey, Katherine Meixel, and Lauren Askey; great-granddaughter, Emma Jean Askey; sisters, Loretta Fober and Louise Epstein; and beloved family pet, Gizmo.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
