Debbie was born and grew up in New Jersey. She lived in New Brunswick, NJ in the Rutgers Village development. She went to Saint Peter’s High School in New Brunswick where she starred in track and cross country.
She went to Douglas College, Rutgers University majoring in Physical Education. She participated on the track team, cross country, and the crew team. She received her Master’s Degree at Ithaca College in New York in Exercise Physiology.
Debbie and her husband moved to Myrtle Beach in 1995. She enjoyed her friends and neighbors in the Arcadian Ridge neighborhood.
She enjoyed distance running, finishing the New York Marathon, Myrtle Beach Marathon and many 10k and other distance races. She taught exercise classes including water aerobics and Pilates. She enjoyed pickle ball and country line dancing. She brought joy, energy, and a competitive spirit to everything she did.
She is survived by her husband Dr. Darron Molter, mother Mae O’Brien, daughter Katie Mae Molter (spouse Joseph Guerrero), son Brian Joseph Molter (spouse Victoria Mariscal), grandson Gabriel Joseph Molter, sister Barbara Mullins, sister Patricia Pryor (spouse Charles Pryor) and favorite pet Glitzy.
In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice. Consider American Cancer Society, Susan Komen foundation, McLeod health foundation or Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
A christian prayer service will be 2:30 pm Saturday, August 2, 2025, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm.
