Daniel Craig Dockins, Sr, age 70, of Socastee, SC, loving husband to Marie A. Dockins, passed away on April 18, 2025. He was the devoted son of the late Orme L. Dockins and Donna J. Dockins. Dan was also a dedicated father to Donna D. Dockins, Denise M. Dockins, and Daniel C. Dockins, Jr., and a cherished grandfather to Daniel C. Dockins, III, Dale O. Wickberg, Dominic E. Dockins, and Daelyn M. Wickberg. Dan is well-loved and survived by his siblings, Dennis M. Dockins, Dirk Dockins, and his sister Darilyn Dockins.
Dan was born in Portland, Oregon. Dan retired as a screen printer, but he had many ventures throughout his life. Dan was a natural-born salesman and entrepreneur, and all the businesses he undertook were successful. Dan was known for his easy-going ways and brilliant wit that could make anyone laugh.
Dan enjoyed sports, especially football and baseball. He was a beloved coach for Little League flag football. In his spare time, and when he wasn’t spending fun time with his grandchildren, Dan loved to watch old monster and cowboy movies.
