Obituary

Clifford Brown, 98, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on December 2, 2025 at his residence.

Born June 17, 1927, he was the son of the late Prater Brown and Lettie Adams Brown of Magoffin Ky. He was a Retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army and had the distinction of serving during World War 2, Korean Conflict, and Vietnam Conflict. Clifford was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Clifford was preceded in death by his loving wife Ruby Irene Brown. Clifford had an active church life and was a member of Pitts Baptist Church in Concord, N.C. He was an avid gardener and dearly loved growing and nursing plants, especially roses. His other hobby consisted of going to various gyms for the past 50 years, but his favorite was Mega Fitness in M.B. where he was the oldest active member up until his death. He truly enjoyed interacting with people at the Gym, Covenant Towers, and all of the Medical offices that he visited during his final 6 years in M.B. He loved to share his life experiences as well as his Faith in GOD and CHRIST with all people he encountered on his Journey.

Clifford is survived by his son, Paul Brown and wife, Rhonda, grandchildren, Monica, Krusemark, and Logan Brown and great granddaughter Stella Rose DeMott. Clifford also thought of Rhonda‘s sister, Treva Parrish, and husband Heyward and Taylor Gavigan as his own family members. Clifford was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by everyone.
