Clara P. (Porter) Johnson

Clara P. Johnson, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Born on October 8, 1932, in Cordele, GA. A daughter to the late Clara I (Woodard) and Ernest J. Porter. 
Mrs. Johnson was a former member of the Seacoast Vineyard Church and was a homemaker for most of her life. 
She is survived by five children, Michael P. Whelan, Jeffrey C. Whelan, Daniel E. Whelan, Joseph J. Johnson, and Deborah Hightower. Along with her children she is survived by her eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bobby” Johnson. 
There will be a visitation from 4:30pm-6:30pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 17, 2021, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens in North Myrtle Beach.
