Charlie Henry Collins, born on May 31, 1948, in Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, in South Carolina. He was a devoted family man and a proud Marine whose spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Henry was the beloved father to six children: Lisa (Michael), Khristie (Craig), Jill (David), Henry Jr. (Kelly), Tommy, and Billy (Julie). His love for his family was boundless; he cherished every moment spent with them. As a loving husband and an adoring pawpaw to his grandchildren & great grandchildren. He created countless memories filled with laughter and warmth that will forever be etched in their hearts. A true patriot at heart, Henry served honorably as a Marine. His commitment to duty instilled values of courage and integrity that resonated throughout his life. After returning home from service, he embraced civilian life but carried the pride of being a Marine wherever he went. Henry had an infectious zest for life that drew people toward him. He found joy in simple pleasures—whether it was gathering with friends at the local pub to watch football or taking leisurely drives around town in his beloved black wing Cadillac. Those moments were not just pass times; they were opportunities for connection and camaraderie that defined who he was—a friend to many who could always be counted on for support or laughter.
