Charles Ray Warren went to be with His Lord & Savior on January 20, 2022. “Chuck” was born on February 13, 1946, in Clinton, North Carolina, a son of Miles H. Warren and Flora Jane Warren.
After leaving North Carolina, he served in the US Navy on the USS Ashtabula. He graduated from Long Beach State University and served as a police officer in Long Beach, CA. He and his wife Jan, resided in Costa Mesa, CA for 35 years. He attended Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, CA. Chuck and Jan moved to Greenwood, SC in 2001, enjoying their lake home and many cherished friendships. They moved to Myrtle Beach, SC in 2015. He attended Calvary Chapel Myrtle Beach, SC and served on the security, gardening and accounting teams.
He was married to his wife Jan and celebrated their 50th anniversary this year. He enjoyed sailing, had a love/hate relationship with golf, loved music, dancing and gardening…often seen by his Cresswind neighbors greening up his lawn, working out in the clubhouse, playing bocce ball, or attending neighborhood functions. He especially enjoyed family celebrations through the years in North Carolina.
He is predeceased by siblings, William Lloyd, Donald Warren, M.H. Warren, Clark Warren, Janis McCullen, Troy Warren, Tommy Warren. He is survived by his wife Jan and his two brothers, Earl Warren (Brenda) and Jerry Warren (Arnette).
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on February 12, 2022, at Calvary Chapel Myrtle Beach, 316 Bush Dr, Myrtle Beach, SC, 29579.
