Charles Edwin Jordan, Jr.

Charles Edwin "Ed" Jordan, Jr passed away on July 26, 2026 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Born in Keyser, WV on January 10, 1943, he was the son of the late Charles Edwin Jordan, Sr. and Virginia (Kight) Jordan. Ed retired as principal of Keyser Primary Middle School in 2007 after serving many years in that position. He was also a former teacher, coach, and talented musician, having been an original member of Thunderhill.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and is survived by his wife of 56 years Jackie (Lindsey) Jordan; daughter, Jodi Lawrence of Myrtle Beach, SC; son, Jamie Jordan of Keyser WV; surrogate son, Greg (Lisa) Cadle of Myrtle Beach, SC and grandchildren Jordan Lawrence, Josie Lawrence, and Charli Jordan. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Patty Lindsey of Keyser WV.
