Carolyn Vos

Carolyn Vos, 89, was called home to glory and crossed over on Thursday, May 28, 2026 to be with her Lord and Savior.

She was born in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vos. Carolyn spent her childhood and teenage years influenced by WWII and Korea Wars.

She would later go on to have a career in the Civil Service Branch of the Government holding many positions that spanned her 35 years.

Prior to her Civil Service Career, Carolyn was employed by the New Lisbon State School in New Jersey where she taught and provided support for disabled youth and adults.

She was a faithful and loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and born again Christian.

She was predeceased by her parents, son Leo Yawgel.

Survivors include her daughter, son and grandchildren.

A graveside service will be 9:30 AM Monday, June 8, 2026 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway.

The family will arrive at 8 am for a time of remembrance and the service will begin at 9:30 am with, Dr. J. Kirk Lawton, Jr. presiding.
