Carole Hansen Obituary

Carole L Hansen, 81, loving wife and mother, passed away on May 26 in Little River SC. Born August 14, 1939 in Phillipsburg NJ, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Pearl Snover. Carole is predecessed by her husband, Warren C Hansen. She is survived by her three daughters, Kim Bickert (with husband, Barry) of Bath PA; Suzanne Rizzo (with husband David) of Chincoteague VA and Heather Hansen O’Neill (with partner Ed Farmer) of Myrtle Beach SC. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carole was a member of the Grand Strand Optimist Club and the First United Methodist Church. She was also recently recognized for her 50 year membership with Eastern Star. Carole’s love of animals, specifically her beloved dogs Fleur, Angel and Fia and her exuberance of social interactions, left a mark on the people that she touched. Memorial services will be held privately. McMillan-Small is handling the arrangements, where an online guestbook is available. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grand Strand Humane Society or the American Cancer Society.
