With faith in God’s promises and hearts filled with love, we announce that Carl Joseph Mugnolo, born on July 28, 1965, in Jacksonville, FL was called home to be with the Lord on January 15, 2026. Carl was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and a man whose life reflected warmth, loyalty, and compassion. He shared a deep and abiding love with his precious wife, Sharon, who was his constant partner, greatest joy, and best friend. Family meant everything to Carl, and he took great pride in being present, supportive, and loving in every role God entrusted to him.
A true enthusiast at heart, Carl found joy in the open road on his Harley-Davidson and the thrill of NASCAR, passions that brought him happiness and camaraderie with others. Yet beyond his hobbies, it was Carl’s generous spirit, sense of humor, and kind heart that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He lived his life with sincerity and humility, always sharing encouragement, laughter, and love.
Carl was a faithful and cherished member of the Hilton Grand Vacations family, where he served as a sales representative, building lasting relationships and leaving a meaningful impact on everyone he encountered.
Carl is survived by his beloved wife Sharon (Amabile); his loving mother and father Kathleen (Ambrose) Mugnolo and James A Mognolo; his sons Mason Mugnolo and his partner Kim; Aaron Mugnolo and wife Nadia; daughter Anna Mugnolo; two Step sons Anthony Bergin and Nicholas Bergin and wife Briana, A Brother Michael Mugnolo and wife Milasy, Sister Tara McCraw and husband Ted, a niece Jennifer Witek and husband Michael and his treasured Grandchildren—Timothy, John, and Ashlynn “Scoochie” Bergin Who held a very special place in Carl’s heart and were a constant source of pride, joy, and unconditional love.
Though our hearts grieve, we find comfort and peace in the assurance of Carl’s faith and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We rejoice knowing he now rests in God’s presence, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance as we receive loved ones for Carl’s memorial visitation on Thursday January 22, 2026 from 4-6pm at McMillan-Small Funeral Home located at 910 67th Ave N., Myrtle Beach SC. The family asks that you continue to keep them in your prayers and remember Carl by sharing kindness, love, and faith—just as he did throughout his life.
