Carl Henry Acker

Carl H. Acker passed away on September 4 th , 2023. He was 82 years old.
He was a retired Air Force Master Sergeant. He was married for 47
wonderful years to his wife, Kihwa. He is also survived by his son, John
Henry Acker II, his daughter in law Kristen Herndon Acker and 3
beautiful granddaughters, Olivia, Blair and Millie. He also dearly loved
his 2 nieces, Jane and Ji Kim. He was a combat veteran, decorated 5
times and serving most of his career in the Pacific. He was a member of
St. Andrews Catholic Church. There will be a mass of Christian burial on
Friday, September 8 th at 11am at McMillian-Small Funeral home in
Myrtle Beach, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St.
Andrews Catholic Church.
