Candace Bentivegna entered into rest on November 21, 2024, She was 78 years young.
Originally from Beacon NY in the Hudson valley, Candy and her husband Jim moved to Myrtle Beach 10 years ago.
Candy and Jim were married 9/25/1965 and have 2 children Heather Bentivegna and Anthony Bentivegna ( Dallas, TX), 2 grandson Damon and Darian were the love of her life, as well as 2 great-grandchildren Ivy and Hezekiah. Candy was a teaching assistant for the Beacon City School District for 43 years. She started as a part time playground aid and cafeteria monitor. The children were joy in life. They called her "Mrs. B".
In retirement she was an avid volunteer on the social committee and activities at Magnolia Pointe HOA. She was a fixture in the tiny community and was loved and adored by everyone. Her energy and enthusiasm inspired all of us to give back to the community and help others,
Services will be private for the family.
A celebration of life will be held at Clubhouse 2 at Magnolia Pointe on Saturday December 7. 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Donations to the American Cancer Society should be made in Lieu of flowers.
