Bradley Clark “Brad” Eno, 74, of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with the love of his life, Cheryl Allread, by his side. Born June 8, 1952, in Danbury, Connecticut, he was the son of Rose Foss and the late Frank Eno. Brad is survived by his devoted partner, Cheryl Allread, with whom he shared more than a decade of love, laughter, happiness, and world travels; his son, Graham (Jenny), and grandchildren, Amelia and Beckett; his stepdaughter, Chase Allread; and his half-siblings, Vance Foss (Jennifer), Scott Foss (Renie), Karen Decarlo (John), Kathy Eno, Bruce Eno, and Clark Eno (Patricia), as well as several nieces and nephews. He also shared a lifelong bond with his best friend, Mike Wimmer (Mary Lou), whose grade-school friendship grew into family.
Brad was a graduate of Danbury High School and then earned a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a master’s degree from New York University. He retired from a successful career as IT Director with Lockheed Martin and later worked as a consultant with various companies, with the most recent one being Colamac of Florida.
Brad was an intelligent, inquisitive, quick-witted, and talkative man who never met a stranger. He enjoyed reading, watching sports, relaxing on the beach, playing with Jude, his rescue Weimaraner, and traveling. Before he returned from one trip, he was always planning the next. One of his goals was to visit every baseball stadium and he had almost accomplished that goal, with only 3 remaining on his list. Although Syracuse was his favorite college team, one might find him pulling for the USC Gamecocks since moving to the SC coast. Yet, his mancave walls were covered with Boston Red Sox photos and memorabilia. Brad was a staunch Democrat who was fiercely loyal and dedicated to such ideals as social equality, civil rights, and environmental protection.
For those who knew Brad, he will be remembered for that big smile, that outgoing and gregarious personality, and that friendly manner of welcoming friends and guests into our home. He was especially happy with Cheryl in their newly built home on the intracoastal waterway and loved watching the sunsets from the top deck with her and Jude.
One of Brad’s greatest joys was spending time with his 97-year-old mother in Connecticut. When his health allowed, he spent one week of every month visiting Rose, reminiscing about old times and family memories and watching late night movies together.
