Obituary

Bonnie Moore O’Lena, 89, passed away, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

She was born November 28, 1932, in Marshville, NC a daughter of the late James Henry and Katie Davis Moore. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth R. O’Lena, two brothers, Frank Moore, Kenneth Moore and two sisters, Lola M. Simpson, and Faye M. Brooks.

Bonnie was a certified residential specialist, realtor, toastmaster, ReMax Intercircle, charter member of the Colonial Dames of America, Colonial Dames of the XVII Century, Chicora Chapter, Honorary Regent of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Theodosia Burr Chapter, Untied Daughters of the Conference. She held numerous offices in all the Societies.

Survivors include her son, Timothy Patrick O’Lena and wife, Amy Maynard of Manassas, VA and numerous nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Saint Andrew Catholic Church with Father Roger Morgan officiating. Burial will follow the service at North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Bonnie’s memory to Saint Andrew Catholic Church Building Fund or the charity of one’s choice.
