Betty Stewart Obituary

Betty Jean Stewart, 90, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022.

She was born on April 30, 1931 in Columbia, SC, a daughter of the late A.O. Mathis and Lillie Mae Hixon Mathis.

Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by a son, William Aaron Stewart, Jr.

Surviving is her son, Samuel James Stewart of Concord, NC; daughters, Debra Yvonne Rabon of Aynor and Rebecca Jean Morris of Georgetown; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.

The family will have a private graveside service Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia, SC.

The family would like to express a deep appreciation to the staff of Crescent Hospice for their care of Mrs. Stewart.
