Obituary

Barbara Hancock Woodrum, 93, of North Myrtle Beach died peacefully on June 1, surrounded by her family. 

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Barbara married Thomas D. Woodrum of Charleston, WV in 1947.  They moved to North Myrtle Beach in 1970, where they became active in Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church.  Barbara sang in the choir, was President of Women of the Church, and served as an Elder. 

Barbara loved her family, her friends, travel, and her church.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Tommy, and her sister Sue Bradford of Charleston, WV. 

She is survived by 5 children: Tom (Teresa) of North Myrtle Beach, Glenn (Jurina) of Sumter, Larry (Margaret) of Columbia, Linda (Linda) of Greenville and Bear (Mary Alice) of Edisto Island: 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, music program, 410 6th Ave S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. 

A memorial service will be held at the church at 11:00 AM on  Saturday, June 10th, with a visitation to follow in the Woodrum Music Room at the church.
