Barbara Ann Pirozzi passed away on Monday November 13, 2023 at the Embrace Hospice in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Barbara Ann Pirozzi was the only child born from the loving marriage of Walter and Bertha Gorniak. Barbara was born in January of 1953 and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. She attended Paterson’s Saint Stephen’s Elementary School, Saint Joseph’s High School and Glassboro State University. Barbara’s major was Art and minor Business. She used them both to establish a great career first as a textile designer and then as a cosmetics and fragrance manager for several very well-known companies and prestigious retail stores in New Jersey and New York City. In spite of having many advanced business opportunities, she always made her son and husband her priority in life.
Married for forty-seven loving years to her husband Sam, who she encouraged and supported to achieve his dreamed life and career. Their son David was born in 1984. Their only child was a gift in so many ways in Barbara’s lifetime. One example is that eleven years ago, David donated his kidney to his mother when she had a kidney transplant at Saint Barnabas Hospital that successfully gave her eleven more beautiful years of life. David and his precious wife Danielle also added two more amazing children to Barbara’s life, and she loved them both so much and loved being Mimi. Mia and Dominic are both awesome children and provided so much joy and happiness.
Moving from New Jersey to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2019 she loved working with the contractor designing a beautiful new house. She also valued the new friendships she made in Myrtle Beach and all of her friends in New Jersey.
Barbara’s beautiful looks, dedication and love for her family and great personality will be missed so much by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
